In search of their 12th title in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, Corinthians defeated Rio Branco-AC 3-0, this Tuesday (7) at the Bruno José Daniel stadium, in Santo André, to guarantee early classification for the second phase of the world’s main grassroots football competition.

The biggest champion of the Copinha, Timão counted on goals from Luiz Fernando, Denner and Dieguinho to triumph this Tuesday. Now, to close the first phase of the Copa São Paulo with the leadership of Group 27, Filhos do Terrão need to at least draw with Santo André, in a match that will be played from 5pm (Brasília time) next Friday (10).
The team led by coach Orlando Ribeiro began to build the victory 10 minutes into the first half, when Luiz Fernando took advantage of a rebound given by goalkeeper Jaderson to just put it into the back of the goal.
The 2-0 came just 5 minutes into the final stage, with Denner hitting first time after a cross from Caipira. In the 29th minute Dieguinho gave the scorer final numbers with a beautiful goal.
