The Mayor of Montevideo Carolina Cosse cooked a gramajo in one of the stands of the Criolla Week, which inaugurated this Sunday in the Rural del Prado and will run until April 9. The recipe, which Cosse cooked together with Agustina Albez, a member of the Mirá Montevideo program, was broadcast on TV Ciudad.
“It’s a common place,” Cosse said when asked if it was common for him to turn on the grill at home.
It was then that Albez asked him how he got along with the grass as a recipe. “Well, to eat it I get along well,” Cosse responded to laughter. “I never did, I have several doubts that I will raise later,” she said.
In Rural del Prado Albez and Cosse made this dish in its vegan and traditional version, a recipe that was broadcast live on the municipal channel.
Since Sunday the 96th edition of the Criolla Week is celebrated. “Until Wednesday we have free admission, yesterday (for Sunday) in the records we had 48 thousand people (visitors)“, said Cosse while helping to cook the gramajo.
