Ricardo Lombana was interviewed by Radio Panama where he discussed current national political issues, the situation in Venezuela, what is happening in the National Assembly and his party Movimiento Otro Camino
He said he hopes that the Nicolás Maduro regime will come out in a good way since it is the way to avoid bloodshed. He said he agrees with the Panamanian government’s position to support Venezuelans, “Panama must play a role in the international community to support the resolution of the situation in Venezuela.”
Regarding the actions of the deputies of the Movimiento Otro Camino party in the Assembly, he says he is proud because they are doing well and presenting important projects for the country following the agendas of the Movement and his own.
Regarding the Otro Camino Movement, he said that Moca is much more than Lombana and right now they are focused on strengthening themselves. Now we have resources and more experience, the party is going to grow. There is a desire to strengthen the party and renew the leadership of the group, Lombana indicated, assuring that they are on their way to becoming an electoral force by 2029.
