- Production of alcoholic beverages: In 2024, this subsector contributed 55,135 million pesos, an increase of 12.6% compared to the 48,945 million pesos in 2023.
- Manufacturing of petroleum products: Registered a growth of 10.6%, with an absolute variation of 4,711 million pesos, reaching 49,187 million pesos in 2024.
- Manufacturing of cement, lime and gypsum: This subsector grew by 19.0%, reaching 9,796 million pesos, which represents an increase of 1,565 million pesos compared to 2023.
Industrial exports on the rise
The national industrial exports They totaled 1,550.4 million dollars in January-November 2024, growing 8.5% year-on-year. Products such as cane sugar, items for transportation or packaging, and petroleum oils led this performance.
Contributions to economic growth
In January-September 2024, the added value of local manufacturing sector experienced accumulated growth of 4.1%, while, in the July-September quarter, the interannual variation was 7.5%.
Furthermore, the Monthly Manufacturing Activity Index (IMAM) It stood at 52.7 points in November 2024, consolidating above the 50-point threshold, a key indicator of expansion in the sector.
Increase in credits and sales
The credit to the local manufacturing in national currency It reached 78,229 million pesos in September 2024, with an increase of 15.7%.
In foreign currency, the credits They were equivalent to 27,282 million pesos. For its part, the accumulated sales of the sector totaled 949,245 million pesos in January-October 2024, growing 6.2% compared to 2023.
