The July thing It is the gastronomic project husband of the restaurant sonia. Just a few steps from the previous one, on Oxford street, Lo de Julio was born to offer a more casual cuisine; a rotisserie, with the soul of a Rio de la Plata bar kitchen but with an international and cantinesque touch.
Julio’s is a bar, it’s from the neighborhood, rich cuisine, cravings, comfort. It is from an afternoon of fernet or vermouth with dishes to share. It is made of different, interesting beer and wine, and of the water of the day; fresh, which accompanies the fixed menu of food, comforting, light and daily. Julio is coffee and bread in the morning or sitting down for breakfast in the form of some eggs in the pan with serrano ham and asparagus or a porchetta sandwich, of fresh homemade bread, with technique and a lot of detail.
It is a place for friends, the dishes to highlight are: chicken or vegetables from the rotisserie, eternal marinated olives, sorrentinos, choripanes, potatoes (in many forms and always changing), milanesa dedicated to comforting and even tacos.
