Lloris will equal Thuram as the player with the most caps for France

The goalkeeper and captain of France Hugo Lloris will become on Sunday, if he plays the round of 16 match against Poland, the footballer who has played the most games with the ‘Bleus’, equaled to another French football legend like Lilian Thuram (142).

Lloris, who except injury will be in the starting team, iIt will also equal another record, the one currently held by Henry himself and another legendary goalkeeper, Fabien Barthez, as the French footballers with the most appearances in World Cups (17).

“I am proud of these figures, although on the eve of a match in the round of 16 of the World Cup remains in the background”, declared the Tottenham goalkeeper this Saturday at a press conference.
