Bartlett’s argument is logical: how could he not appeal to the Amasiat to justify the 1988 fraud? If the former anti-corruption czar, Irma Eréndira, found no evidence of his concubinage. Of course, if it has 22 houses, then which one are you looking for it …
For the new right disguised as the left, the amasiat is something dreadful. As well as for Yuri the homoparental adoption.
Manuel Bartlett denounces amasiato. An aberration for him. In other words, a perverse union between parties of the same sex. In other words: “EL” PRI with “EL” PAN.
But Don Manuel lost his… mental system.
Because if someone has lived in an amasiato, in concubinage, in a relationship with power … It is him. The same with Miguel de la Madrid as Secretary of the Interior, that with Carlos Salinas de Gortari, who he protected the votes in 88, that with Ernesto Zedillo when he was governor of Puebla, that with the PT when they threw him into the PRI, that with López Obrador as head of the CFE.
If there is a synonym for amasiato in Mexico, his name is Manuel and his last name is Bartlett.
