The trial against the leader and part of the leadership of Fuerza Popular began on Monday, July 1. The prosecution is asking for a sentence of 30 years of imprisonment for the accused.
This Wednesday, July 24, the Third Collegiate Criminal Court of the National Superior Court of the Judiciary will resume the hearing of the Cocktails case against Keiko Fujimori and part of the leadership of Fuerza Popular. The session will be held virtually to continue with the arguments of the defendants’ defense.

Roberto Carlos Quispe, Hugo Tasayco Mendoza’s lawyer, indicated that since there were no crimes, he will ask that the charges against his client be dropped.
