Little children of initial level joined the celebration of the purple month and in a tender gesture of fervor at such a young age they went on their own journey carrying a small litter of the Lord of Miracles on their shoulders. The initial students of Colegios Zárate carried out their own procession in honor of the Purple Christ. Dressed in the characteristic purple habit, white shirt, purple tie, white cord, black pants and dark shoes, the children tenderly and respectfully emulated the traditional procession.
Jessica Ventura Yupanqui, school director, highlighted the importance of this special participation. “It is a pride to see our children representing this tradition. We want them from a young age to feel the value of our customs and the spirituality that unites us as a community,” he expressed.
The ceremony included the participation of the school choir, the rest of the students and the teaching staff, who joined in this tribute.
