MIAMI, United States.- Miguel Díaz-Canel’s wife, Lis Cuesta, has not come out of one controversy to enter another since she made her debut on the Twitter social network just a week ago, and now she has asked for “a respect ” to those who, according to her, have distorted the words of the troubadour Silvio Rodríguez.
“Do the cheap manipulators really think they are experts? What can Silvio’s words use against the Revolution? Please respect. Silvio is Silvio! ”, Wrote Cuesta, who has positioned himself since he entered social networks as one of the most unpopular people on the island.
The first lady’s tweet has to do with the request for justice made by Silvio Rodriguezwell-known defender of the Havana regime, regarding the case of the young musician Abel Lescay, sentenced to six years in prison for participating in the July 11 protests.
Cuesta’s comment has once again unleashed criticism from Cubans who call her a slum and a rabble, especially for the role she occupies in the direction of the country.
“Madam, really, what a slum you are. Please respect yourself and respect the people. You are showing your face internationally, and you are ridiculing (as usual, I am not going to deny it) an entire country,” wrote a user identified as Dora the dictator.
“My God, this is the first lady of my country, and she behaves like a sun flipper, dedicating herself to bullying those who disagree with her or her husband. What little class. What a shame, ”another user replied.
“Ma’am, respect yourself. You are using words and expressions that leave a lot to be desired. You and your husband no longer had charisma, what else are you looking for? In the worst neighborhood in Cuba there are people with more class. At least keep quiet for a while, ”another suggested.
Since she opened her account on the social network on March 31, Lis Cuesta has made several publications that have left a wave of memes and criticism in her wake. She began by making the activities of the San Remo Festival visible, but the tweet that placed her at the center of the controversy was one in which she expressed her love for the ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel.
“The one who is cute is! And furthermore, inside and out: the dictator of my heart,” he wrote earlier this week.
