Lis Cuesta has her heart “broken” by the blackouts

Lis Cuesta

Madrid Spain.- The wife of Cuban ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel, Lis Cuesta Peraza, once again made fun of Cubans in Twitter. On this occasion, the “first lady” said that she had “her heart in scrubbing mode due to the overwhelming eight-hour blackouts” that the population has been suffering in recent months.

“With my heart in scrubbing mode due to the overwhelming blackouts, I went, without sleeping, to the Meteoro and from there to the Closure of the #25Cubadisco. I thank life for my work: Cubans and North Americans embraced by music”, said Lis Cuesta this Sunday, as if she really cared about this difficult situation that Cubans go through.

Cubans’ reactions to Lis Cuesta’s comment

As expected, Cubans, for whom this situation with electrical problems is unsustainable, have not been slow to react to their hypocrisy.

“Your brain is like a sponge and the one that allows you to tweet and make fun of the people. You will have the face to say that you did not sleep because you had a blackout when everyone knows that your mansion has power 24 hours a day, ”said an outraged user.

“One thing is lack of respect, but this is another level, they make fun of the intelligence of the Cuban people,” considered another.

“Taking into account the socio-political tension that this country is experiencing, one of the things that those at the top should take care of the most is their communication strategy. Silence is sometimes the smartest thing to do,” they suggested.

“You do not suffer blackouts or shortages of any kind. They are making fun of the people. They put laws in place to penalize those of us who say what we think and then publish,” he said. @MayraCompanion1.

“This same level of alienation and surrealism is not new, the story reminds of Marie Antoinette and her ‘if they don’t have bread let them eat cake’. And we already know how that story ended.” @Nejersian.

The “adventure” of the “first lady” on Twitter

Since it was released on Twitter on March 31, the “first lady” has unleashed indignation and ridicule from Cubans with her ill-advised comments. Among her “adventures” on the social network, it is worth mentioning when on April 10 she referred to Díaz-Canel as “the dictator of her heart.”

Only a few days later his “respect” arrived.

Due to the reactions to the statements of the troubadour Silvio Rodríguez, who criticized the six-year prison sentence against the young musician Abel González Lescay, Cuesta Peraza lashed out against those who, according to her, were trying to turn Silvio against the Revolution.

“Do the cheap manipulators really believe that they are experts, that they can use Silvio’s words against the Revolution? Please respect. Silvio is Silvio!” published Lis Cuesta.
