new record for Lionel Messi: The Argentinian star has secured his next title after winning the World Cup with the Argentina national soccer team.
His photo with the World Cup trophy posted on Instagram after the final (see below) received more than 60 million “likes” on Tuesday afternoon, a new record for the social media platform.
However, Messi did not dethrone Cristiano Ronaldo or Justin Bieber, but an egg. The “world_record_egg” it is now in second place with almost 56.5 million likes.
By the way: in the top 10 there are four publications by Messi, all published during or shortly before the World Cup in Qatar. His eternal rival Ronaldo has “only” three positions behind the Argentine.
