The Chiriquí Homicide and Femicide Section succeeded in guarantee control hearing to order the provisional detention of a man charged with the crimes of Femicide and Sexual Rape to the detriment of the girl Lina Rojas de, who died as a result of these crimes at 10 years old.
Prosecutor Hernán Mora supported the elements that prove the crimes and the connection of the accused, which allowed the judge of guarantees, Roger Ibarra, to order the arrest legal, formulate the charges and when considering the nature and seriousness of the fact, for which procedural risks of flight risk, danger of destruction of evidence and danger to the community applied the precautionary measure of provisional detention to a 54-year-old man.
The foregoing is related to an event recorded on February 9 in the Alanje district, when the victim was located nearby in a residence with multiple blows, and unfortunately, after spending two days in a medical center, he lost his life.
