National Authorities carried out the traditional act of the beginning of Christmas, with the lighting of the lights of the Cruz del Waraira Repano, the Christmas tree and lights in the Plaza Bolívar de Caracas, as well as in other public spaces of the city.
The day was marked by a drone show, which illuminated the Caracas sky as a symbol of union and peace. In addition, various artists such as Billo’s Caracas Boys, Cardinals of Success, Omar Enrique, Project A, the Cadillac’s, Mabel Yeah and Omar Acedo presented themselves on stage, while the Caracas town congregated to enjoy bagpipes, dances and the great Christmas rumba.
In this regard, the head of the Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, highlighted the deep spiritual meaning of this era for the Venezuelan people: “For us, Christmas is an important time because the Christmas spirit brings to Christ, our Lord, who joins families, who joins the deep love of our people, for their land, for their mountains, for their seas; it is the deep love of the revolution of the love of the love of the love.
