Life sentence and 35 years in prison for those involved in the crime of Alexandra Sobrevilla

The Judiciary sentenced Danny B. Yupanqui E. to life imprisonment for the crime of aggravated robbery with subsequent death to the detriment of the doctor Alexandra Sobrevilla, murdered in May 2024 as a “false taxi driver.”

Likewise, Carlos R. Huamán J., Kevin K. Valer M., Jesús Á. Vásquez B. and Carlos I. Vásquez B. received 35 years in prison, after proving their participation in the assault and homicide. Meanwhile, Carlos R. Jurado E. and Cristian Rojas E. were sentenced to 10 years for criminal gang and aggravated reception, for intervening in the sale and manipulation of the cell phone stolen from the victim.

The prosecutor’s investigation determined that the young woman was intercepted, attacked and stripped of her phone when she boarded a vehicle driven by one of those involved. His body was abandoned in a field in El Tambo. The sentence was based on the planning of the crime, the coordination between the accused and the economic motive for the crime.
