The Army Lieutenant Colonel RAFAEL MARTINS DE OLIVEIRA Denied on Monday (28) to have received from Mauro Cid, former joint of orders from Jair Bolsonaro, money inside a glass of wine.
The military is one of the defendants of Core 3 of the Republic Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and was interrogated by video conferencing by Judge Rafael Tamai, auxiliary magistrate of the minister, who is rapporteur of the case. Oliveira has been arrested since last year.
According to the investigations, The military is one of the accused of participating in the actions of the yellow-green dagger, a coup plan that, according to the Federal Police (PF), would be executed to kill several authorities, such as President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Vice President Geraldo Alckimin, and STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes, in 2022.
According to the statement of Mauro Cid’s denunciation, General Braga Netto, who is also a defendant in the coup plot, would have passed the bag with money to the former Bolsonaro assistant. With the bag in hand, Cid would have given the package to Oliveira. The money would be used to finance the coup plot. In the denunciation, Cid did not need the value that would be in the bag.
During the testimony, Lieutenant Colonel denied receiving the bag and countered the former assistant’s denunciation.
“This whole story of money, it is based on a single pillar, the word of the whistleblower. He who claims to have received a wine bag, which he did not see what he had inside, he assumed he had money,” he said.
Last month, Braga Netto also denied have passed money to ICD.
In the interrogation, Rafael Martins did not answer the questions of the prosecution, which is asked by PGR, and the assistant judge. He just wanted to answer the defense’s own questions.
Because they are defendants, the accused may be silent in the face of questions that are asked during the interrogation.

Interrogation
The STF today interrogates nine army military personnel and a federal police who belong to core 3 of the complaint presented by PGR.
Part of the military was part of the Army Special Forces Battalion, whose soldiers are known as “black kids”.
The accused of this core are accused of planning “tactical actions” to effect the coup plan, including the monitoring of Alexandre de Moraes and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
