This Tuesday, November 26, the Liceo No. 3 of Melo “Emir Pica Cánepa” will celebrate a cultural and entertainment day with the active participation of its students. Under the title “Festival of Tradition, Memory and Identity”, the event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a varied agenda that highlights local customs and traditions.
The students will be the protagonists of activities that will include the representation of typical foods of the region, accompanied by guitarreadas, mateadas, folklore and candombe shows, among other cultural expressions. In addition, the day will have a staging, symbolizing the unity and festive spirit of the educational community.
As reported by the institution, this celebration is one of the most notable activities of the closing of the 2024 cycle, reaffirming the high school’s commitment to the promotion of local culture and the integration of its students. The event is already an annual tradition at the high school, known for its focus on strengthening the cultural values and identity of the region.
