Libertarians and Kirchnerists united to expel Edgardo Kueider

The Senate has lived a historic day full of tension when deciding, by an overwhelming majority, the expulsion of the senator Edgardo Kueider. The measure was adopted with 61 votes in favor, five against and one abstention, far exceeding the two-thirds necessary to dismiss a national legislator.

The decision to expel Edgardo Kueidernational senator of the Federal Unity bloc, occurred after his arrest at the Friendship Bridge while trying to enter Paraguay with more than 200,000 dollars, 3.9 million Argentine pesos and 640,000 guaraníes without declaring.
