Libertadores: referees set for round of 16 rematches

Conmebol announced this Friday the appointments of referees for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, which will have Libertad and Cerro Porteño in action next week.

Gumarelo will host Athletico Paranaense on Tuesday, July 5 (8:30 p.m.), at Defensores del Chaco, after the Brazilians 2-1 in the first leg. The rematch will be directed by the Uruguayan Andrés Cunha.

Cerro Porteño, for its part, will seek a historic feat on Wednesday, July 6: reverse the 0-3 conceded in the first leg against Asunción. The second leg (18:15) with the two-time champion of America Palmeiras will be led by the Argentinian Patricio Loustau.
