Confirmed. Bolívar was placed in group two of the Copa Libertadores, while San Antonio is in group four. This configuration was made by Conmebol based on the club ranking and will be vital when carrying out the group stage draw.
The Paceños will have to debut as a visitor against a team from Bolillero Four and will finish the first round facing two games at home.
For its part, the team from the Cochabamba tropics will train internationally at home and will have two consecutive outings.
Bolívar qualified for the competition after winning the Clausura tournament, occupying 27th place in the ranking, while San Antonio, winner of the Apertura, still does not have a score since it will participate for the first time in a Conmebol tournament.
Pool one is headed by the current champion of the tournament, Botafogo of Brazil, who will fall into group A. River Plate, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Peñarol, Nacional, San Pablo and Racing also appear in this pot.
In bolillero two, along with Bolívar, Olimpia, Liga de Quito, Internacional, Libertad, Independiente del Valle, Colo Colo and Estudiantes de La Plata appear.
The third is made up of Atlético Nacional, Vélez Sarsfield, Fortaleza, Sporting Cristal, Universitario, Talleres de Córdoba, Deportivo Táchira and Universidad de Chile.
Finally, in the bolillero four are Carabobo, Bucaramanga, San Antonio Bulo, Central Córdoba and the four winners of phase 3.
The other two Bolivians in the competition, Blooming and The Strongest, will seek their place in the group stage from phases 1 and 2 respectively. The academy will play against El Nacional from Ecuador, while Tigre will face Bahia from Brazil.
