The former chancellor Álvaro Leyva is news again. This after it would reappear after submitting a criminal complaint in the United States in which you request that an investigation is opened against President Gustavo Petro and the journalist Juan Diego Quesada.
The document, dated September 25, 2025, is addressed to Attorney General Pamela Bondi and consists of 21 pages in which the facts that support the complaint are presented, including press articles, X and interview publications.

“The expert report concludes that the audio is not original and that it has been edited, which completely distorts the use that has been given in the press and in judicial instances,” Point out in the complaint.
In the journalistic note, mention is made that the former chancellor would have sought support in the United States to affect the continuity of the government of President Petro. However, Leyva argues that both the article and LSubsequent signs are based on facts that did not occur.
