Lexa Engineering wins again tender in Conatel

On July 11, the National Directorate of Public Procurement (DNCP) published that the company Lexa Ingeniería SRL was awarded a total value of G. 16,500 million (US$ 2.4 million).

He managed to win the so-called tender; “Expansion of Service Quality Measurement System for Mobile Service, With Fixed Measurement Stations” with ID 410.085. For this tender, offers began to be received from Monday, June 27, 2022.

The National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) was the institution in charge of carrying out the call under the category; “Computer, Office, Educational, Printing, Communication and Signage Equipment, Accessories and Programs”, by the type of National Public Bidding (LPN) procedure.

The aforementioned institution awarded two items; Two Fixed Radio units (Additional Equipment for Retrofitting a Fixed Quality of Service Station for Mobile Telephony Services) with a unit price of G. 1,250 million.

And 10 Fixed Radio units (Remote Quality Measurement Station for Mobile Telephony Service) with a unit price of G. 1,400 million.

The aforementioned firm has Max Cattebeke Figueredo as its legal representative. Lexa Engineering SRL was the only company that presented itself to the call.

NO ANSWERS

We tried to communicate with the Conatel authorities to have more details of this call. However, from the communication department, they did not provide us with the contacts of those responsible. They told us that they would manage the interviews but at the close of this edition, we still had no answers.

Lexa Engineering adds 13 contracts won with the State, 11 of them with the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel). It began to win tenders since 2016.
