Torreon, Coahuila; March 11, 2023.- By taking a protest as the PRI candidate for governor, Manolo Jiménez Salinas stressed that he is prepared to take Coahuila to the next level and lead the most citizen government.

Before militants, political advisers and the PRI operational team that will work on his campaign, Jiménez Salinas indicated that he is ready for the next electoral process.

“Thanks to this great team and thousands of state PRI members, today I had the opportunity to protest as our party’s candidate for governor of Coahuila, since in the internal election that we had as a pre-campaign closure a few weeks ago, we achieved a vote of 503 thousand votes”, he highlighted.

Accompanied by his wife Paola Rodríguez López, Manolo Jiménez added that, together with a great team, he will work for families, women, youth, workers and the elderly, as well as for true gender equality, an even development, for change lives, and for a better quality of life for all.

“In this great team we Coahuilenses are thrown forward, those of us who love our land are gathered. Those of us who prefer unity instead of division and polarization. Those of us who know that work kills grid. And those of us who are willing to give it all to defend our state from those who want to come and transform it into a failed and violent state as they have already done with other states in the country,” he said.

Accompanied and supported by the first PRI member of Coahuila, Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, whose leadership has raised the name of the state, Manolo Jiménez Salinas said that he will work so that Coahuila is consolidated as the best place in Mexico to live.

In his message, the president of the National Executive Committee of the PRI, Alejandro Moreno, pointed out that the PRI of Coahuila is pride for the national PRI, and that it has given great results in the government.

“Today we cannot allow that there are no good governments, and for that reason feel very proud of who you are; Coahuila is a bastion and has all the tools to defend the state, and with the strong and indisputable militancy we are going to win the governorship,” pointed.

He added that for this, Manolo Jiménez Salinas is the best profile to lead this great project.

“Manolo is an example of what the PRI promotes in these times, a young politician, a professional who speaks up, recognized for his work, who is loved by his people and that is why he is going to be governor; he has known how to add wills and listened to everyone” , he stressed.

Likewise, he also recognized the work of Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís in the state, and pointed out that he will undoubtedly be the axis to build unity and strengthen the political process in Coahuila.

Present were the Governor of Durango, Esteban Villegas; the president of the PRI Coahuila, Rodrigo Fuentes; the former governor of Oaxaca, Alejandro Murat and the mayors of Torreón, Román Alberto Cepeda and of Saltillo, José María Fraustro.

Senators Verónica Martínez, Claudia Ruiz and Claudia Anaya, the former governor of Coahuila, Enrique Martínez y Martínez; and the former national president of the CEN Manlio Fabio Beltrones as well as PRI mayors, local and federal deputies, state and national political advisors, leaders of popular sectors and organizations and militants.
