The community of Clara Chuchío, located north of the city, this weekend celebrates its patron saint, the Virgen del Carmenso it has prepared a series of activities for its celebration.
In order to reach the community, you pass about 200 meters from the toll at km 17 of the highway to Montero, continuing east for about 7 kilometers, a little further on from the headquarters of the Santa Cruz Hunting and Fishing Club.
This Saturday at 8:00 p.m. concludes the novena of the Virgen del Carmen where the residents and neighbors of the community have gathered and then the subsequent wake. At 9:00 p.m. the bazaar opens and the dance begins at midnight.
On Sunday the festivities resume with the celebration at 10:00 of the Holy Mass in the parish of the Virgen del Carmenlocated on the south front of the Clara Chuchío square, where baptisms and first communions will also take place, and then the procession will take place.
Starting at noon, various typical dishes, popular games and the traditional palo ensebao will be served.
Starting at 1:00 p.m., the general party begins, enlivened by a band and an electronic ensemble. Everyone is invited. EGJ
