Less load, more export: Agro breathes with Javier Milei's new decree

In a new chapter of Argentine economic policy, the National Government formalized by decree 526/2025 the reduction of retention to agribusiness exports, a measure previously announced by the President Javier Milei during the inauguration of the Rural Exhibition of Palermo.

This decision, which will enter into force as of Friday, represents a firm step in the official strategy of overburys, tax simplification and stimulus to foreign trade. The initiative, signed by Javier Milei Together with the Chief of Cabinet, Guillermo Francos, and the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, establishes a permanent reduction in export rights (DEX) for key products of the agricultural sector.
