According to Calderón, he has had many conversations both with Lombana and with other members of the party in order to understand what the fundamental points of this proposal are.
In March of this year, the former Minister of Social Development and political activist, Leonor Calderón, resigned from the militancy of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) and it was not until this week that she returned to form part of a group, this time, she signed up in the ranks of the Movement Another Way, led by Ricardo Lombana.
According to Calderón, he has had many conversations both with Lombana and with other members of the party in order to understand what the fundamental points of this proposal are.
She stressed that the rescue actions of the institutions in Panama are part of Ricardo Lombana’s government plan, one of the main reasons why she was motivated to join said group.
“We have to rescue those institutions, such as the Social Security Fund, and give them back that dignity, and I see all these actions in the commitment that both Lombana and his group have, who are working intensely on preparing a proposal for the country of guidelines for the Plan of government,” he said.
