Santo Domingo.- The president of the People’s Force (FP), Leonel Fernandezsaid this afternoon that in the face of the government’s slogan “Don’t look back, the slogan is, they’ll come back out.”
In an act in which he swore in a large group of professionals from the aeronautical sector, coordinated by Santiago Rosa Martínez, Fernández stated that whoever does not look back will not understand their history and will lose their identity.
According to the political leader of the opposition, the ruling party is desperate. “For what reason this desperation, because they also study the polls, they are seeing what the people feel and value of the current administration of the government, and from February to the present there has been a deterioration, a deterioration of the government function and the perception that the people have of that government management, “he specified.
“When asked how the Dominican citizen feels the progress of the country, in the South region they say that it is very bad, in the East region they say that it is very bad, in the Cibao region they say that it is very bad and in the Greater Santo Domingo region they say very badly”, Leonel explained the results, concluding that throughout the territory the opinion is that the country is not going in the right direction and that the government is responsible.
He assured that the government knows this reality, because like the FP it makes its measurements. “Sociodemographically, who is saying it? Young people between 18 and 45 years of age are saying it, adults from 45 to 55 are saying it, adults over 55 and older are saying it, all sectors of the Dominican Republic are saying it. ».
“The men are saying it and the women are saying it and, more so the women, 68% of the women surveyed in the Dominican Republic are saying today that we are going in the wrong direction and that therefore a democratic alternative is needed to be able to channel the country on the right path”, pointed out the president of the People’s Force.
