Cotuí,.– After leading a massive swearing-in in Jayaco, Monsignor Nouel, the president of the People’s Force (FP), Leonel Fernández, moved this Saturday to Cotuí, where he swore in a group of influential political and community leaders from the Sánchez Ramírez province, in an event held at the headquarters of the Dominican Medical College (CMD), Cotuí branch.
Among those sworn in, stands out former senator Félix María Vásquez, who will assume the coordination of the external sector of the People’s Force in the province. Vásquez is an emblematic figure of Sánchez Ramírez, with a career spanning more than four decades in public, business and political life. Since his youth, Vásquez forged a solid business career in the agricultural sector and subsequently became a senator of the Republic in 2006. His incorporation strengthens the provincial leadership of the People’s Force and represents important moral and strategic support.
The young leader Persio Sánchez, current councilor and reference of the new political generation of Sánchez Ramírez, was also sworn in. From an early age he has demonstrated a commitment to public service, standing out as a student leader and leader in youth, cultural and political organizations. His closeness to the people, his progressive vision and his vocation for work have positioned him as one of the most promising emerging figures on the local scene.

Likewise, the renowned leader Virmania Arzeno, lawyer, athlete, former deputy and former Vice Minister of Women, joined the organization. It is identified by its coherent, supportive and close trajectory with citizens. Their integration reinforces the female presence in the political structure of the People’s Force, providing experience, leadership and a vocation for service.
With these three high-profile incorporations, dozens of middle and grassroots leaders from various municipalities and municipal districts of Sánchez Ramírez also joined the political project headed by Leonel Fernández. This growth demonstrates the process of territorial consolidation that FP is experiencing in every corner of the country.
Earlier, Fernández led an important swearing-in ceremony in Jayaco, Monsignor Nouel, where renowned PRM leaders such as Deivy Ferreira joined. “The Cyclone”, Delio José Rodríguez “Papo”, Luis Miguel Rosario “Miguelito“, José Miguel Batista, among others. Community leaders from various political organizations also joined.
The agenda of the president of the People’s Force will continue this Sunday, November 2, with scheduled visits to San José de Ocoa and Azua, where he will lead new activities for the growth and swearing-in of political and social structures, within the framework of the process of strengthening the organization for the country’s electoral future.
