Santo Domingo.-Former Dominican President, Leonel Fernandez arrived in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday afternoon after participating last Sunday as an observer in the controversial electoral process in Venezuela, where President Nicolás Maduro remained in power.
Fernández arrived with eight other people. The former president landed at the Joaquín Balaguer del Higüero International Airport in Santo Domingo Norte.
When asked by the press on his arrival about the Venezuelan electoral process, Leonel Fernández reiterated that the electoral records must be presented, as requested by the international community.
