Leonardo, a young man from the department of Cauca, known on social networks as ‘El Mocho del Cauca’, is the living example that adversity is not a limit to personal improvement. His life changed drastically after a work accident that left him without his hands, but his determination led him to continue forward and show that nothing is impossible.

In an interview shared by Iguana TV, a content creator, Leonardo recounted how the accident that marked his life happened. «I was cleaning coffee, I didn’t notice some electricity cords that were detached in the middle of the coffee. When I put the machine in, I touched the ropes with the sword of the machine, and from the strong impact, I lost both of my forearms,” ​​he said.

The emotional blow was devastating. Waking up in the hospital and realizing he had lost his limbs, he felt like his world was falling apart. “I thought I wouldn’t be able to continue doing the jobs I had been doing,” he said. However, over time, resilience and his love for the countryside led him to adapt to his new reality.

An example of struggle and hope

Leonardo confessed that at first no one gave him a job due to his condition, but that did not stop him. «One day I looked in the mirror and said I couldn’t give up, I must continue. I search for myself as a way because I have been a person who has really liked the countryside, agriculture, whatever I touch in this life. For me there is nothing impossible in this life,” he expressed firmly.
