Miami, United States. – Leon Medical Centers, in collaboration with the heritage of Celia Cruz, presented an itinerant exhibition of the artist’s historical objects to commemorate her centenary, which is fulfilled on October 21. The sample – inaugurated on Homestead – brings together unique pieces of the singer’s trajectory, including some exhibited in the Smithsonian Institution, according to a press release sent to Cubanet.

The tour includes three headquarters of Leon Medical Centers in Miami-Dade County: Homestead, from October 4 to 25, 2025 (2250 NE 8th Street, Homestead, FL 33033); Flagler, from November 1 to 29, 2025 (7950 NW 2nd Street, Miami, FL 33126); and East Hialeah, from December 1 to 27, 2025 (445 EAST 25th Street, Hialeah, FL 33013). The public is invited to visit the exhibition.
Among the exposed objects include iconic elements of the scenic image of Cruz – colorful plates and sequin dresses – as well as jewelry, bags, glasses, shoes, awards and other recognitions received throughout his career. A replica of its star is also included in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a sign on Celia Cruz Way Street in Miami Beach and a mural that runs through its trajectory through historical photographs, personal notes, original scores, programs, books and magazine covers.
