Militants of the left-wing social organization in opposition to the Government called Libres del Sur marched on Wednesday the 14th towards supermarkets in demand for foods for the dining rooms at these parties and demonstrated against the price makers.
The leaders of the social group highlighted key points, of what they consider an adjustment by the Government that benefits the aforementioned large price makers of the groceries in Argentina and they accuse the most important lines of supermarkets of attacking the most vulnerable by increasing the values of the foods above the general rate of inflation.
Silvia Saravia, national territorial coordinator of Libres del Sur, explains the framework in which they ask foods: “In this difficult context of adjustment, the national government guaranteed the profits of price makers. In parallel, The dining rooms and picnic areas still do not know when the Ministry of Social Development directed by Tolosa Paz will deliver food. Something is clear: for price makers there are certainties and for dining rooms uncertainty”.
The protests demanding the groceries They were carried out in the following establishments: Vital y Nini de 520 y 25, de La Plata; Carrefour, on Avenida Hipólito Yrigoyen 299 in Avellaneda; Carrefour, General Paz and San Martín, from San Martín; Chango Mas de 197 and Panamericana de Tigre; Walmart in San Justo, in La Matanza, and the Carrefour hypermarket in Rivadavia and Bernardo de Irigoyen in the City.
Bonus to Enhance Work
From the Government, they announced that they will launch, after Christmas and before New Year, a bonus for the beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo social plan that corresponds to almost half of the Complementary Social Salary they receive, it is a “half bonus” for these social actors.
This extra will be financed by the Government and it is intended that those who are in the Potenciar Trabajo program manage to beat inflation at least during the month of December. Regarding this point, the social organizations, which were already aware of the granting of a bonus, demand that this extra in their assets be a full Complementary Social Salary and not half, so that the tensions between the Government and the sectors of left are sharpened.
On the other hand, both the social movements for the purposes of the ruling party that are part of the Frente de Todos (FdT), whether they are Somos Barrios de Pie, the Evita Movement and the Combative Class Current, as well as the opponents of the Government, the Polo Obrero or Libres del Sur , which demand that the 20,000 beneficiaries who were discharged by the Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, be reincorporated.
