The militants of the Polo Obrero, the MST Teresa Vive, the Barrios de Pie Movement and fractions of the Darío Santillán Popular Front They concentrated from morning on different sections of Avenida 9 de Julio, which generated vehicular chaos in downtown and downtown Buenos Aires.
Among their claims is a request for a Minimum Vital and Mobile Salary of “105,000 pesos” and a bonus for retirees and monotributistas, among other demands.
The leader of the Polo Obrero Eduardo Belliboni had told Télam that the demands consist of a “bonus or reinforcement of income of 20,000 pesos for retirees, monotributistas, precarious and beneficiaries of the Empower Work program”, and a “public works plan with genuine work and the universalization of social programs”.

“We ask for the universalization of Empower Work and the increase in the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salary, which has an impact on the increase in Empower. We will see if we get answers today in Plaza de Mayo, we do not rule out prolonging our presence there,” he had warned, for his part, Silvia Saravia, referent of Libres del Sur and national coordinator of Barrios de Pie.
The Polo Obrero-Tendencia was also part of the mobilization demanding a “salary and retirement increase” and against the “persecution and repression” of workers.
