The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) provided these recommendations so that you can develop a curriculum vitae (CV) generating interest in recruiters and so you can advance in the following stages of selection in companies.
For this reason, the sector makes its job search advisory service available, thanks to which you can strengthen your document and can increase your chances of getting a job.

Likewise, these are the main data that the Ministry of Labor provides you so that you can have a good CV:
First of all, knowing what content our document should have, being:
- Personal information
- Personal presentation
- Academic training
- Work experience
- skills and achievements
- Further training
On the other hand, some points must be taken into account before preparing a winning resume, and these are:
- Adapt your CV to the job offered: Highlight those experiences, skills, knowledge and competencies most related to the vacancies for which you are applying.
- Be honest, short and concise: Post relevant and reliable information. The most important thing must be consigned with short and simple sentences, always taking care of spelling and writing. Your CV should not exceed two pages in length.
- Structure and organize your CV to facilitate its reading: Information regarding the experience should be placed in chronological order from the most recent to the oldest. Include the keywords that are in the vacancies and job profiles you are applying for. Emphasize subheadings and use a consistent, legible font and size.
- Photography is optional: However, if you want to include it, it must give added value. It has to be sharp, updated and with appropriate clothing. Do not include it if it is not.
- Write your CV in Word: Take care of the design, the margins and the line spacing (neither too wide that they take up space nor too narrow that the information looks very loaded). In Word you can find design templates that you can use. When you’re ready, convert your CV to PDF for you to send or post on job boards.
