The publication of the Bolivian Foreign Ministry indicates that to enter the country, at least one of the following established requirements will be required:

  1. Vaccination certificate against Covid-19 in physical or digital format (complete scheme) with at least 14 days before the date of entry into the country.
  2. Negative RT-PCR test for people over five years of age, up to 72 hours before entering the country.
  3. Certified nasal antigen test for people over five years of age, up to 48 hours before entering the country.

In addition, the statement requests that the biosecurity measures established by the Government must be complied with during the stay in Bolivia.

Last week, tourism operators protested in the center of La Paz and in other parts of the country so that the Government lifts the restrictions to enter the country. They requested that foreigners no longer be required to have health insurance, an affidavit, and instead that they carry their PCR test while they are in the country.
