In the last few hours, audios emerged in which Gisell Sanguinet offers “baskets, land and plates” for the “No” militants in the department of Salto.
As can be deduced from the audios, Sanguinet expresses: “We are putting together the party and the issue of positions is being determined. I am consulting with the people of the Artigas neighborhood and I am consulting who are the people who still follow, because we want to take the people who follow into account for the positions that are emerging. We wanted to know if you continue, if you had made a decision, if for the moment you want to wait or are going to continue (…) We want to resolve with those who continue, what were the ideas, what positions did they want, for whom”.
In another passage of the audio, Sanguinet says: “The LUC starts, as you know, the defense of the LUC and there is also the whole issue of the baskets and the aid that is going to start coming, because it is working in coalition with the whites and now we have to give them a ‘list’ of the people who need help, plates, land, whatever”.
In another audio, he states: “Hello Jessica, how are you? This is Gisell Sanguinet speaking, I am the lawyer on the 20115 List and I have been trying to communicate with your mother for a while about the issue that a position came up and we wanted to know if she can accept it”.
An unbearable barbarity
The senator of the Colorado Party, Germán Coutinho, told El Observador that the audio of the leader of his “Vamos Salto” List is “unbearable”.
While in Montevideo Portal, the senator stated that it is “outrageous” and that he refuses to engage in politics of that style.
