At the end of 2024, the voluntary savings managed by Afore XXI Banorte exceeded 57,000 million pesos, the highest in the Retirement Savings System, positioning the administrator as the leader in this area. These figures represent an increase of 33% compared to the data registered during 2023, which reaffirms the success of the various initiatives and strategies implemented by the company during the last year to encourage voluntary contributions, promote the culture of prevention and foster Financial education among the Mexican population.
“As part of our commitment to promote savings culture, XXI Banorte has implemented various educational strategies and programs to disseminate the importance of additional contributions. According to figures from the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar), at the end of last year the voluntary savings accumulated in the system amounted to more than 173,000 million pesos, highlighting that XXI Banorte concentrates 33.4% of the total , which reflects the confidence that the workers in the AFORE deposit, particularly in regard to the management of savings and the various tools and facilities it offers in favor of the holders. It should be noted that, from the total voluntary savings balance under the management of XXI Banorte, 57% corresponds to contributions made by women, while 43% is equivalent to the total made by men.
