Lawyer Luis Martinez Pezo affirmed that he learned of his dismissal – announced by the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve– by the press. According to Radio Bio Bio, the lawyer explained to the Collipulli Guarantee Court that he did not attend the hearing because he ingested an intravenous analgesic that his doctor gave him to deal with stomach pain. This made him “fall into a deep sleep and sleep without interruptions”.
