Along with the project, three other initiatives were delivered.
The one on violence against women has among its objectives “to adopt the necessary measures to prevent, punish and eradicate violence against women, as well as to establish the comprehensive protection system for victims of gender violence,” according to the official.
Sets the definition of feminicide and punishes him with sentences that may go from 30 to 40 yearspenalties that would be aggravated when the crime is committed against a girl or adolescent, as well as women with disabilities and over 65 years of age.

The other two projects submitted yesterday by the Executive are on assets seized, kidnapped, abandoned, confiscated and in extinction of domain, and for the promotion and competitiveness of the National Civil Aviation.
These legislative initiatives were prepared by the Ministry for Women, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Attorney General’s Office, the Judiciary, and the National Police, among other institutions.
