In the last hours it has circulated on social networks and some portals of low credibility a version according to which Laura Villamil’s lawyers would have reached an economic agreement with the Andrés restaurant beef for an amount close to the 3,000 million pesos. However, the legal team that represents the young woman categorically denied this information, qualifying her as false and malicious.

The lawyer Camilo Rojaswho has led the legal actions on behalf of Villamil and his family, said that at no time that figure corresponds to the reality of the agreement “Which enjoys legal reserve.”
“To affirm compensation amounts puts at risk not only the rehabilitation process, but the security of Laura Villamil and that of her family”the lawyer added through a statement.

The case generated a wide controversy due to the lack of immediate attention and the apparent negligence in the security conditions of the place. Since then, the family has resorted to judicial mechanisms to clarify what happened and demand responsibilities.
