This Christmas, Laura spent the night of December 24 in the hospital, accompanied by her father.
Christmas was different for her, but no less meaningful. “It’s that thing of not being able to hug my dad being here, because it’s still impossible for me. Normally at Christmas you kiss and everything, but I haven’t been able to do it. Not yet, but I know that very soon I will be able to do it,” he commented with tears in his eyes.
The young woman said that, although the circumstances were difficult, they shared a Christmas full of love and gratitude. «We ate turkey and coconut custard, because I love it. “We prayed the novena and were very grateful,” he added.
Regarding her recovery process, Laura expressed that one of the most important advances is the elimination of the bacteria that represented a threat to her life. “I was recently on antibiotics because another one had appeared. “Today is the last day of the antibiotic,” she explained, visibly relieved.
Today, Laura’s greatest desire is to be able to complete her recovery process and be close to her family, who has been her main source of support during this difficult time.
The company and love of his loved ones have given him strength to move forward, especially in those moments when difficulties seemed insurmountable.
