One of the interesting issues of migration is the diversity that it has brought to countries like the United States in places like Florida, where the number of restaurants and typical Latin American food places have had a great prestige and a great diffusion.
There are no places where one can’t be surprised at how ingrained the taste of our food has been in the palate of the average North American. In Little Havana, where the Versailles restaurant is located, the reference site of the Cuban exile, one can notice this characteristic and the attraction that the consumption of this type of food suggests.
If we add to that the great Mexican presence, of almost 18 million in this territory, we can affirm with that colloquial expression that Latin America is colonizing a large part of the United States through the stomach.
