The Ministry of Labor will carry out several activities for the week of the worker, in addition to more than 1,000 job vacancies.
Firstly, the launch of the job fair with 1,282 job vacancies for the private sector is expected to be held at the headquarters of the SNPP (National Professional Promotion Service) in Asunción.
In addition, the activity called “Employment in your neighborhood” will be carried out in the Mbocayaty neighborhood of Asunción. On the occasion, the residents of the place will have a job fair, training offers, a digital empowerment program for older adults, training for gardens in small spaces, robotics for children, among others.
Also, the welcome ceremony for the beneficiaries of the vocational training program for women in the textile area with the Taiwan embassy is scheduled for Tuesday, which will be held at the headquarters of the CEE (Entrepreneur Training Center), San Lorenzo.
On Wednesday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m., the Labor portfolio will proceed to the authorization of the Labor Training Center (ASIMCOPAR). Then, at 11:00 am, the second stage of the “Domestic Employment Formalization Campaign” will be launched.
These activities will take place at the SNPP headquarters. At 2:00 p.m., the inauguration of the carpentry and electricity school in the city of Villa Hayes will take place.

At 13:30 diplomas will be delivered to students who completed the course “Training on International Labor Standards related to forced labor and human trafficking: national and comparative perspective”, which will be held at the headquarters of the Judiciary.
Subsequently, at 4:00 p.m. launch of safety courses in the hospital environment, the activity will be at the SNPP headquarters.
The worker’s week will culminate on Friday, May 6 with a fair for entrepreneurs and a day of open doors for training within the framework of the National Vocational Training Strategy.
