After the death of the wife of Vincho Castillo, Mrs. Sogela Semán, personalities from the political field met this Sunday at the Blandino Funeral Home and the Cristo Redentor cemetery, to accompany their relatives to say their last goodbye, defining her as an exemplary woman.
Her son, @VinicioSenador, said he was very sorry for his mother’s death and defined her as an exemplary mother.
“It is a terrible and sad moment to say goodbye to my mother, but it comforts us that she is in the glory of God and that during her life we were able to return the love that she gave us.”

He also expressed that Mrs. Sogela was the axis of her family; “Behind my father’s strength was the trunk of the family, which was my mother.”
“As a mother, she leaves the legacy of correct and exemplary behavior, of love for her children and instilling union and Christian values in them.”
The wake was attended by former President Leonel Fernández, who stated that he regretted the death of a person who was the center of the Castillo family.
Likewise, the former deputy of the Institutional Democratic Party (PDI), stated that he sympathizes with the Castillo family, and expressed that Doña Sogela’s death leaves a great legacy to her children.
“This mother who has gone to heaven leaves a great legacy to her children and leaves a man of great historical value in widowhood,” he said.
Sogela Castillo was interned for three days at the Abel Gonzales Clinic, with a delicate health condition, which prevented the doctors from saving her life.
On his side, the Coordinator Radhames Jimenez said that it was an unfortunate death for the family and the country.
Doña Sogela Castillo died at the age of 90 after spending three days in the Abel González clinic, and returning home, where she had complications due to bleeding.
The wife of the Dominican politician had four children with Vincho Castillo; Vinicio, Juárez, Pelegrín and Sogelita Castillo Semán.
