Registrations open for TESIPA, will be received until Thursday the 26th
Last days to register for the Technologist in Integrated Agricultural Production Systems (TESIPA), one of the degrees at the University of the Republic that is taught exclusively in Cerro Largo.
All graduates of Higher Secondary Education (Baccalaureate) in any of its orientations may be part of the 2026 generation.
“We are at the beginning of the 3rd Generation of TESIPA. It is a career that aims to train technicians who are capable of managing Integrated Agricultural Production Systems where the use of natural resources and synergies between the components of the different systems are enhanced” explained the Agr. Eng. Valentina Benitez.
“We at the Forestry Pole have been working for many years in what has to do with plant production, trees and pastures, but also with animal production” he remembered. “This Technologist aims to train people who are linked to everything that is integrated agricultural production, as well as the integration of economic and social aspects that have to do with this type of productive systems” commented to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
As a particular fact, it is a proposal that is dictated only from the Cerro Largo University House. “Any student who wants to take it has to come to the city of Melo. We have been consulted a lot about virtuality, but although there are some subjects that we could coordinate regarding distance classes, it also has its practical part because it is a Technologist. The idea is always to take it from here” said the Teacher.
“We come from two very successful generations and we intend that this coming one will also be successful. We invite those interested to sign up and participate in the race” Engineer Benítez called.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
The Veterinarian Ana Cecilia Corro He added that the registration period will be open until Thursday, February 26.
“It is a very nice career that is linked to the agricultural environment that is not only designed for those who already work within that field, but also for those who are interested in entering the workforce in this environment with quality university training.” he assured.
“This career is aimed at people who have taken any orientation in high school, whether in high schools, private schools or UTU” remarked Ana Cecilia Corro. “Something very important is that they must have a valid health card, a card-type photo and have a Digital Identity that can be managed in Collection Networks or in ANTEL. Basically, with these three requirements they can now access their online registration through the UDELAR 2026 registration page” he remarked.
“If anyone has questions or requires help, they can come to the CUCEL Headquarters and any of us will kindly assist them. Those who need scholarships can also come. In that case, the deadline is until Saturday the 28th.” he remembered.
Engineer Valentina Benítez asked those interested to register these days and not leave the process until the last minute. “This in itself raises some issue with documentation that must be requested. We are all very Uruguayan and we leave it to the last minute, but we invite you to register, to come to the University House in case of any questions or doubts.
