Attention affiliates! Time is running out for those seeking to dispose of their funds. The Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) have confirmed that the deadline to request the eighth extraordinary retreat has been extended until next Monday, January 19.
This measure benefits both contributors who have not yet started the process and those who made a previous request for a smaller amount and wish to complete the maximum allowed by law.
Why is the withdrawal now S/ 22,000?
Unlike last year, when the limit was S/ 21,400, this 2026 the maximum amount has been raised to S/ 22,000. This increase responds to the update of the value of the Tax Tax Unit (UIT), which through Supreme Decree No. 301-2025-EF, rose to S/ 5,500.
“If you decide to make your extraordinary withdrawal from January 1, the maximum amount to withdraw will be higher, and may reach up to 4 current UITs,” AFP Habitat specified in its official channels.
Guide for the ‘Second Application’
If you have already requested a portion of your funds but have not reached the limit of the 4 UITs, you can manage a second registration to obtain the difference, as long as you have a balance in your individual account.
Steps for registration (AFP Prima Case)
- Enter your Virtual Agency.
- Go to the “My procedures” section.
- Select the option “Second withdrawal request up to 4 UIT”.
- Verify that the sum of both withdrawals does not exceed S/ 22,000.
Schedule and payment methods
The procedure is 100% digital and is available from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (except holidays).
Regarding the deposit of the money, the AFP reported that the four-armed scheme will be maintained. Each disbursement will be up to one UIT (S/ 5,500) with a maximum interval of 30 calendar days between each payment, directly to the bank account selected by the affiliate.
