Educational authorities from the department of Santa Cruz met at the Las Barreras Educational Unit, located in Warnes, to start the 2022 school year, which, due to the coronavirus pandemic, starts with three modalities: remote, face-to-face and semi-face-to-face.
In Santa Cruz there are more than 800,000 schoolchildren who have been enrolled for the present school administration.
The head of the Departmental Directorate of Education (DDE), Edwin Eliseo Huayllani, stressed that, in peri-urban and dispersed areas, classes will be blended and face-to-face, as is the case of the Las Barreras Educational Unit, where the blended modality will be applied.
This Tuesday there were moments emotional in the reunion of students in the classrooms. The children did not hide the joy of being reunited with their classmates and teachers. Parents and teachers took care that all schoolchildren wear a mask.
In the midst of the opening of the school year, parents tThey also displayed signs to demand items for the teachers.
