On Thursday night (30), Atlético-MG met its opponent in the Copa Sudamericana decider. Playing at the La Fortaleza stadium, Lanús (Argentina) defeated Universidad de Chile (Chile) 1-0, scored by striker Rodrigo Castillo, and secured themselves in the final of the competition.

Now Galo and the Argentine team will compete in the South American final on November 22nd (a Saturday) in Asunción (Paraguay).
Atlético-MG won a place in the final of the competition after defeating Independiente del Valle (Ecuador) by a score of 3-1 last Tuesday night (28) in Belo Horizonte.
