A fire registered in the old headquarters of the Judiciary, located in the 10 block of San José de Chiclayo street, could cause its infrastructure to collapse.
The incident began on Friday and today in the morning the fire reignited, putting the families of the surrounding houses at risk.
That is why the president of the Lambayeque Superior Court of Justice, José Rodríguez Tanta, made an urgent appeal to the authorities.
“An engineer has told us that structurally this building is about to collapse. I call on the authorities to put co-responsibility at this time. They have to please take measures and let’s not wait for something to happen. To the people who live around them to leave their homes, ”he said.

He also indicated that he has sent official letters to the mayoress of Chiclayo, Janet Cubas, to the representatives of Indeci to execute a plan to prevent property damage and the death of people.
It should be noted that the fire has already consumed part of the cane, mud and calamine structure; meanwhile, firefighters seek to put out the flames definitively.
