The Nobel Prize for Literature, Mario Vargas Llosaarrived in the Lambayeque region with his family and visited the Royal Tombs of Sipán National Museum, where he was received by representatives of the Decentralized Directorate of Culture, Julio César Fernández Alvarado and Manuel Curo.

During his visit, he highlighted the importance of Lambayecan culture and thanked the attention given to him in the cultural venue with his family. “I have been pleased to tour the Museum facilities, I congratulate the Culture workers for the access, the good work they do in maintaining each archaeological piece of this emblematic culture, and all the facilities they have provided me and my family. ”, declared Vargas Llosa.
Finally, Dr. Fernández thanked the writer Mario Vargas Llosa for his visit. “This meeting has been an honor, as a young man I have read all of his works, but life has allowed me to shake his hand and congratulate him on his excellent work in literature,” he said.
